Does the car pass the PPI it's yours, does is fail,... re-negotiate, ... does it fail big time, walk/run away

Any seller who is reluctant is to be avoided.... saves you the cost of the PPI as well

This is what I did with my car. I agreed a price with the seller, on the condition that the PPI did not throw up anything besides normal service items. The PPI was expensive at $650 and included a compression and leakdown test.

But in the end, the PPI did identify a few things, and the P-car specialist estimated a $2k repair bill. And voila...$2k chopped off the price of the car, just like that
