I have owned the previous generation of Mg Cup wheels - the 8&9X16 from the 944 turbo Cup. Several sets, 4 altogether.
You don't want these. Long term or frequent use or restored. You want only new, don't use, don't scratch.
Of my 4 sets, 2 wheels were porous. The paint would display tiny bubbles, and they would not hold air. I had them treated with some sort of wax to seal them, from a company that specialises in Mg rims. Expensive, and not certain.
if they get damaged, they are a bear to repaint, Specific primers, paints, and then if there is *any* contamination, they will bubble again, but not right away. After a year or so.
Anywhere the paint gets scratched, they will deteriorate, and that includes where the tire's bead is placed. Hint: you can't see it, until the paint bubbles.
If you so much as whisper the word "pothole", they will bend. If you try to ge them straightened by someone who does not do Mg rims, they will crack.
If you have an RS, buy them. Keep them in the boxes, and sell them with the car when the time comes. And use boring alloy ones.

I wonder how much value these wheels would add to the car. It seems that you would end up selling them to the new owner for the going market rate. It's a shame that such a nice expensive set of wheels can only be enjoyed in boxes sitting in your garage (unless you have the coin to maintain them).
