Default :: ECS Tuning :: Limited Supply Of New 964 Tail Lights.

We dug up a handful of tail lights for the Porsche 964. These have been NLA from Porsche for a long time, so those of you who have been hunting through online ads and scrounging flea markets have one last chance to get a set of new, original equipment tail light assemblies, in the original boxes.

I'd hope the continued increase in popularity of the 964 platform will eventually translates to more parts support so that basic components such as light fixtures will be more readily available.

It's scary to think that stuff like some friggin' taillights would be such a scarce item.

Decent price but just as an FYI: The 964 tail lights are not NLA. Porsche wasn't making any for about 8 months but they are back in stock. We just received our order for a bunch of sets from Germany last week.

Yes, Porsche have stock of these and the rear reflector now, limited supply at the moment due to the demand of not being available for over a year but defiantly not NLA and defiantly available again from Porsche, it will take a few months for production to satisfy worldwide demand, then there should be no further problems with these. Porsche have changed the discount on these to **** all now so re-sellers prices will be pretty close to Porsche retail.

I was going to ask "Do the new lights include new harnesses?" but the pictures on the website clarified that.

Very nice.

Noted. Perhaps "unavailable" would have been a better term, rather than NLA.

Regardless, we have sets of tail lights ready to ship at a competitive price! Check them out for yourself!

These lights are brand new and unfaded. They have not been out of the box, and they have not been subjected to the UV damage that the lights on your car likely have been.

It's pretty rare to see a 964 without faded tail lights, so now is the time to make yours red again.

Right, but what I think Richard is getting at is that some lots of brand new lights from Porsche have come out pretty pink looking, even brand new.

I cant believe someone hasnt made a GOOD set of LED taillights and rear reflector for these cars. They would clean up. Those lights Porsche put out are pure crap. The lights on my 89 honda civic stayed red and shiney for 22 years and it was parked in the sun the whole time.

Sonnen Porsche in San Francisco has the tail lights back in stock now too.

If you order them from their online parts store they only $231.14 each+ shipping (cost me $13 to Seattle). They seem to have the best prices on Porsche parts in the country.
