Default Engine fan colour

Hi all.
Nearing the end of my engine re-build and my builder has asked about what colour I would like the engine fan.
The car is guard's red and obviously the engine is predominantly silver and black so I was thinking either silver or red.
I know it's a trivial issue but but it is the most visible part of the engine so any thought's?

Apologies for not introducing myself, I hadn't realised this was my first post on here. I have been on 911UK for a while but joined here earlier this year as there seems to be rather more 964 activity on this forum.

Hi Hawks

Yup much more active for the 964 over here compared to 911uk!

red is cool or for the purists just blasted and left in raw alloy with some anti corrosion wax/duckoil.

mines just been done and is just the mat silver that the glass blasting left, I've given it a squirt, it'll probably get grubby fairly quickly, but its quite nice.

You'll find most of the 911UKers are on here too

I've seen a yellow fan on a Guards car...matches the Oil Filler/Dipstick & looked pretty good!

A red fan is a nice touch

I saw this early car and really liked the bronze finish.

Yellow is the way I'd go - I've seen one done like that and it looked great.

Red is always a good option also.

Either one is better than the cruddy old nastiness that resides in mine at the moment.

Welcome, I was going to say Red, but that bronze is pretty cool in an understated kind of way!

I was going to say red, but Vandit's pictures swing it for me; yellow. Looks great and a nice contrast to the guards red.
