Hi James
Welcome to the club,
Like you I am new to all this... and like you I opted for a Cab... and hey guess what..like you I had the tropical heating to drivers footwell!!
I fixed it with the help of the guys and girls on this forum and at 911UK. It was a good job to do to build up a little confidence.
I had a rubbish stereo and shot speakers when I got mine and have since had the door cards off and installed new speakers and an amp under the drivers seat (tight squeeze). I have posted a thread on the speaker install...however a word of caution.. steer clear of the Alpines, not as good as I though they would be.I think Rainbow and Focals have been mentioned on previous posts, they look like a better bet.
Next project for me is: -
New Veloce 3.6 wheels and tyres
New 2 piece roof
And eventually...wish list.
Full interior retrim
New KW Shocks
Good luck with your new mistress and remember to keep us posted with comments and pics!!
Cheers![Cheers](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/beerchug.gif)

Welcome James, this is really the best place to find great valuable info for your 964. I too benefitted from the vast knowledge of owners on this forum.
I really dig the clear signal up front; it really stands out on a Black car.

Thanks for all the welcomes everyone!
Several stereo/alarm installations later have left their mark with lots of random wires hanging around - thought I'd cracked the poor reception issue this afternoon after much searching on here.... Found the wire that leaves the side of the aerial booster cut through - and then another similar one hanging nearby (foolishly smiled to myself!) then realised that one is coaxial, but the one attached to the booster isn't - no inner core of wire, just lots of small strands! Weird! It could never have been that easy huh!
Anyway, thanks again everyone - I'll keep my eye open for any local drives!
Cheers.

Welcome to the club. There are no better folks you will find than here on this forum. You can ask any question and you will get the answer or pointed in the right direction. The search is one of your best tools. Also as stated before get a extra DME relay asap and put it in the glove box along with a jumper wire with spade conectors on it. A small print is nice as well.
