For that price I'll take a mint green 964 RS plus a solid 964 C2 driver.

I'm not sure about the price but I've said it before, I think a 993 C2S is the car to own. I'd take it over any other air cooled 911. if I could only afford it that is.

I have no use for any car that just sits around and is never driven. If I had 6 figures to blow and bought that car, I'd have it disassembled, painted a decent color, and drive the f'ing wheels off of it.

Not surprised, this one has it all. This is a true "try to find another one" scenario.

... I have all documentation to include a log of every time the car was even started,...
Wow, there really are owners like that?
That would be a very thick log for my car.

Two posts on Rennlist, both about the same car which is for sale? Hmmmm.

Yea, somewhat sickening. It's a bit of a curse because once you go that path you're basically guaranteeing the car will forever be destined to be a garage queen unless someone is will to pay the massive garage queen premium and **** it all away by driving the car as intended. That's the nice thing about cars w/ real world mileage, you drive them all you want, however you want, and it doesn't affect the value much at all.

If mileage was an advantage then I'd have a collector's dream.... 204K and counting... :-)

Having seen Tom's C4 in the flesh, you would never believe it had covered anywhere near that mileage

I'm sorry - but I get that some guys will pay through the nose for a collector car...ok understood...

But for that money, you could have bought a very good 993, stripped the enitre thing, painted it mexico blue (full inside and out respray), and still had enough left to do the same with a 964...and had 2 awesome cars to play with....

sooooo...what would you do?
