Cool - sounds good pass rides are on for outlon, and we'll slide a tiny cat in the back of the 964 garage.

I'm not having much done at RPM, just MOT, service, brake fluid change, check alignment, corner weight and Geo. Plus I've got a couple of oil weaps we are looking at.

Actually sounds a lot but, its just prepping the car for the season I guess.

Sidn22ey - do you mean invite for Spa to Vauxhall guys? If so, Ian (aka "Araf") already has that under control as far as I know. Might be best to touch base with him to get the latest.

Expecting them to arrive early March so should have enough time to fit them before the trip. Carpeting should be finished this weekend and the quarter window seals are being done on Monday.

Very organised, lovin the carpet thread....looked at mine and thought how shabby it looked in comparison to your pics. Decided I'm going for "shabby chic" look

I need to change my brake fluid and will do it before the trip. My question is if i put in a higher boiling point fluid will i need to change it more often than i would normal DOT4?

Cheers

Best to change any fluid at least once a year.....though if you were racing you'd do it more often than that!

If you do track days once a year regardless to be honest. I've just had mine done, put SRF in it, then I tend to partial bleeds throughout the year, to flush the fluid out of the calipers - never had fade, and I'm not the best on the brakes.

Indeed! I think I've got something planned to do for the trip, every weekend before we go.
