Water in footwell's

Whilst we are on the subject of bonnet fit I have noticed that mine requires a lot of force to engage the bonnet catch whereas my 993 was just a gentle push down and would almost close itself. Is there a way to release the tension as I suspect the same issue of an irregular bonnet seal could be prevalent on mine. Although I have as yet no leaks etc

For me, my coupe rear window seal had gone south. This leak ran under the speaker shelf, down the backside of the rear seats and showed up in the rear footwells. I used painters tape to isolate the leak to the rear window and confirm that it was not the side windows or sunroof seal.
A little permatex flowable silicone under the lip the seal on both the glass side and paint side of the window seal did the trick. Cheaper and less risky than a glass removal and seal replacement. Only delays the inevitable, but I can time that to a more convenient time, like a repaint or other major project.
