Default Thinking of selling Cup 1 Wheels, help with price

I have a set of Cup 1 17" wheels, OEM from my 964 that I want to sell. The only price I found is on Ebay, $299 for one wheel, condition isn't as good as mine. My wheels do have some nicks, marks but no curb rashes, wheels are straight. They where pulled off of my car in 2007, stored in the garage. Tires are Michelin Pilot Sports, fronts have about another year of tread assuming you don't drive in the Fall or Winter. Rears should be replaced this year.

I was thinking of $1,400 (local sale in Seattle). Not sure about shipping, about how much is it to ship a wheel/tire combo?

What's the going price for Cup 1's these days?

Thanks,

Ron

$1400 seems high. The tires are aged out. A clean set of OEM Cup I's will bring $1000 to $1200 (if you are patient.)

Agree.... I paid for $550 for a set that I had refinished for another 550. $1100 and they are perfect.

Ive seen them for $500-$700 within the last 3 month in the Seattle area with no tires. I've got a set of 17" cup 2's I'm hoping to get $700 for to get some cup 1's!

I paid $1200 for mine and was happy to. A good straight set of OEM ones are not as easy to find as one might think. (meaning you can't decide to go out and buy a proper set on any given day). You could ask $1400 and that would give some wiggle room. If you get no nibbles drop the price a bit.

It will be a lot easier to sell these w/o tires unless you find a local buyer, almost worn out tires are not worth much and will ad a lot to shipping. I'd say $900-1000.
