Default Where is your Sirius or XM antenna located in your Cabriolet?

The one in my car is on the dash by the corner of the windshield on the passenger side and gets horrible coverage.

Just checking to see where others put it?

When I had it i had the magnetic one stuck on the rear next to the ET brake light. Mine wouldn't work thru the windshield either.

I put the AM module in my truck since I drive it more.

The center of the dash worked ok but it still lost the signal a lot.

Here's where my car had the XM antenna installed by the prior owner.

Now it's all deleted, including the headunit, XM module, etc.

I seem to have full strength on the terrestrial signal but around 3 bars on the satellite signal. If I stick it on the top of the window frame or right around the 3rd brake light it might bounce back and forth between 3 and 6 bars. Doesn't seem to be any "best" spot I can find. Maybe the dash is where it stays then.

I have factory installed Sirius in my daily driver, but finally gave up on it as the signal would fade in and out. It was as bad as old AM radio along the WA/OR/CA coasts and over mountain passes. I get mailings every few weeks offering to renew my service for 1/2 price even got a phone offer from them at 9.95 per month. My antenna is mounted on the vehicle roof.
