You had me on this one. Every 911 I have owned since the 70's has had the tach and speedo turned. Especially handy with a smaller wheel so I can see the gauges. Nice looking care hope you were joking.

I've done a lot worse...

In the end, they must have felt it looked stale...hence the repaint to black.

The guy that specked the car, could have bought a RS with what he eventually spent on this car.
Having driven the car and comparing it to my cars this one feels like a new RS which it effectively is in parts.
The paint job is like glass and the detail to engine and box rebuild is superb, not to mention the geo, suspension and wheel combo, makes this car feel so Light to drive.
Anyhow if you fancy the Motorsport look to your 64, these are the same wheels that Frank and myself are fitting to our cars this week in readiness for Spa.

I'm definitely not judging that. If I won the Lotto, I could see myself easily speeding that kind of money on a 964, actually a bunch of 964s. Easy. I'd fill this forum will all kinds of eye-candy. BUT, I wouldn't call any of them an RS. Only Porsche can do that (in my mind). Regardless, it's not a big deal to badge a car an RS, if that's what you want to do?

That's nice to read, and proves it's worth spending money on regular 964s.

Drool! Can't wait to see the pics!
