Don't be shy,,,

If you fancy the ride out come along,, the hall and museum will be a code on entrance, so you pay the admission fee,, if we get the head count they'll send me the discount back or give me it when were leaving, so i'll give you your money back there and then,, if not were all in the same boat paying the standard admission .. but the two places will cost less than £20 a head at the worse ,,,but we should hit the numbers on the hall for the group discount..
Lakeland is twenty people for the discount.

So please get yeah names down by this Sunday, as I need to sort the two car parking areas with the museums , we'll be parked away from the people carriers and door banging squad.....

Wish I could go on this one as my mum lives in Grange-over-Sands. A tad too far from San Francisco though.....

Yeah, I think we would all love to be going there instead but Holker and the museum will be a nice sunday out .

Uk, is great when its not raining which isn't often but the 20th of May is going to be fine,, so the fella with the moles tells me........honest!!!!!!!!!!!!

Remember Sunday I'll be on the blower telling the two places how many parking bays we need.

The grass is always greener Gaz, trust me, I'd be quite content sailing down Windermere through Ambleside right now, strolling through Kendal in the rain, having a real pint in the Hare-and-Hounds in Levens, or walking the prom in Grange! Holker hall is a great day out...please take lots of pics!

Yup, homesick Northerner here! Grew up mainly in Cheshire, Mum in Cumbria (Grange-over-Sands), as were my grandparents (Outside Kendal). I have one sister in Shropshire and another in Yorkshire. My Dad was the Vicar of Woodford in Cheshire until he passed a few years ago, he kept a boat up on Windermere most of his life.

I don't miss the weather, but I often think I might trade the CA climate for a proper cuppa and a decent pint!

Cheers!
