Default 964 and 993 hard to find parts ideas

Everyone. I am kind of looking for the next niche market and after owning my 964 for 4 months I have identified some outragous prices on some poor built(longevity wise) parts from the factory and thought about making them. Basically I am thinking about the parts like spoiler transmission, spoiler modules, HVAC servos etc. The problem is I am more of a fab/weld/cnc guy then an electronics so those are a shelved idea for now with the exception of the spoiler tranmission I believe I could make those for give or take $100 with qty but not sure if that is even viable.

so enough dribble the reason for the post is that I wanted to find out if there are specific parts that people would like to see made that currently are not and we will see if I can service those needs .. so to be clear I am not selling anything as of yet but trying to brainstorm to identify a need for my passion. Does that make sense?

It would be a very small market especially for the 964. There may be a bunch of sales to start with but probably would drop off fast.

ironically everyone said that about M&K when I started it. but yes I agree the 964 market is much bigger then I thought when I started looking.

Cheaper version of all the little gas lines in the boot. I have the classic fuel smell and have already replaced the filler neck and cap. I think the 993 guys would use them also.

this is post 959:-)

The Cabs have an ultra expensive roof support bows that snap when strained. (over $1500 new each side) 911-561-927-00-70B (Left) and 911-561-928-00-70B (Right)

The other parts that come to mind are the heating servos and C4 Differential locks, but these have electrical components inside as well.

The power window switches could use some improvement. I have replaced several on both of my cars. The replacement parts are inexpensive but don't last like they should.

New fan shims are expensive as are the engine tin pieces.

Spoiler walls. Crazy expensive for a bit of corrugated plastic board with an extruded lip...and they don't last

If fabrication is your thing, then engine tinware in stainless steel or alloy would be great. The cost from the factory is extortionate for what they are and I would guess at the right price demand would be high. Rust seems to be a common killer for the original mild steel versions.
