Default Front bumper lighting issue

On my newly acquired '91 964, I have a peculiar bumper lighting issue to fix. Can you please tell me what is causing this problem and what should fix it?

When the front parking indicators are turned on (one click of light ****) and when the full headlights are turned on (two clicks of the light ****), both positions, the following situation occurs. Turn signal stalk is centered:

Drivers side turn signal is illuminated and front indicator is off (see image of drivers side).

Passenger side turn signal is off and front indicator is illuminated (see image of passenger side).

Do the turn signals flash in their appropriate location on each side?

When driving the right turn signal has been hit or miss lately. Just trying to check it now in the garage, it won't illuminate. Other than the turn signal not illuminating, I think the passenger side is nominal.

Back over to the drivers side, the turn signal operated as it should. The problem is that when the front lights are turned on to either position, the turn signal (when not signaling) acts as a parking light.

sounds like a bulb might be burned out somewhere.

Yes, I'm aware of the front passenger turn signal bulb being out. However, I don't see how that could be causing the issue with the [edited: driver] side parking indicator/turn signal in the same light.

It can cause the flasher relay to misbehave.

Ok. Because one of the fogs are out along with this one turn signal, I just went ahead and bought nearly a full set of bulbs (front fogs, indicators, front and rear turn signals) through Daniel Stern and Honda; yeah Mr. Stern recommended their "Stanley" turn signal bulbs over anything he could provide.

It would be cool if you're right because that's an easy fix. Either way, I'll have some fresh bulbs that I know the history on.
