Default jerky acceleration - why?

Is there a commom reason for jerky acceleration when you jump on the throttle hard in a slow corner, say in second gear? stock motor mounts? may be a silly question, but if there is a easy answer, I'd love to try it...

lugging it?

not sure what that means - but thats kind of what it feels like if I get hard on the throttle in a slow corner...not sure why it doesn this. For the most part- the engine having just been rebuilt, runs perfectly and everything is in order.

Default Jerky?

Dual mass flywheel is my guess. Mine does it and it runs exceptionally well unless I am lugging it coming out of a sharp curve.

By lugging, I mean if you're too low in the power curve and feeding too much throttle...you'll get the classic jerkiness.

What RPMs are you at when you're trying to accelerate out of the corner? You could try the same corner in first gear or you could slip the clutch and get the revs up into the more usable power range.

Thats probably it then...not driving really hard - it's on the street - so probably too low rpm...makes sense...

you think? so your revs would be about 1200rpm when it occurs? i find this hard to believe. i think 99% of people would recognise the problem instantly if 'lugging it' was the cause.

what are your rpms when the jerkiness happens?
