It’s tough getting what you want given there are so few cars out there that are really good. That's not being disparaging to most cars, the comments reflect the age and use the cars get. I bought mine at 911Virgin and they told me that no matter what you buy you'll spend money on it as things just happen and needing doing. I spent 19k on mine a few weeks back and have earmarked 2.6k for this year.
The golden rules apply, buy the absolute best you can afford and fixer uppers cost more in the long run.
If it helps EPorsch want 22k for a red car with an engine re build.

With that criteria you have zero chance of finding a car. Sorry to be so blunt.
You would be better finding a track day or group meet and talking turkey with an owner of a car that ticks the boxes. Be prepared to pay, the car you describe is not cheap.

Tks for replies. Can u confirm u paid 19k from 911V for the purchase of the car?
I'm not thinking that car is out there for 10k!!!! I'm prepared to pay no question for the right car. If I'm patient the right car will come up. I'm off red at mo and whites a preference but black or dark blue works or indeed maybe another colour.

You will undoubtably find the vehicle you are looking for particularly if you are prepared to pay the price. But it may take some time. You just missed what I consider done of the best value opportunities I've seen in some time (also described on eBay here). Of course not the proper side of the Atlantic but just to prove a point.

I would forget about being so colour sensitive so as to widen the net of possible cars, likewise why insist on an engine rebuild or even sorted suspension? You can do all those things yourself and have the peace of mind at the same time. Stay with the original criteria and I would estimate the cost is £20-25k
