Beautiful! Wish I had the ability to trade up from my higher milage, dinged up GPW. I could swap the red interior out and keep the Linen I just put in, then sell mine with the red.

I've decided that sellers should pay me a consultant fee. The fee will be for me to decide I want to buy their car, because once I do, the car is gone.
i saw this this morning and emailed Alan immediately to tell him I'd take it. I had been in discussion with him when the price was up at $28K, but I thought something around $24K was closer to right. At the time he was holding out for more, but when I saw it today I jumped on it.
He wrote back to say someone was already flying in tomorrow from Rhode Island. Once again, I'm too late...

alan, do you still have your original ecu chip? Saw you upgraded to the steve wong one. I have an aftermarket chip and would like to return to stock, so i figured i'd ask. Good luck with the sale!

The original chip was not actually "original"...some sort of aftermarket deal installed by a PO. I'm sad the car is gone but excited that my journey for something new will yield a similar smile and butt pucker.

Sorry you had to sell, especially since the engine had a fresh rebuild and the car was so sorted.
Hope to see you in another 964 in the future!
Never thought about selling my original chip...at the same time I can't see returning back to stock either. What is an original chip worth?

Yea, kind of a sad day but I felt it was time to move on plus I got a very reasonable price that offset a lot of the work I had done.
Boss 302 might just be in my furure...a real beast with handling to boot.
