The first priority is this lot:
Overhaul gear linkage bushes
Floorboard driver side
Engine Mounts
Stereo (done)
Upgrade rear brakes to 4 pots & new bias valve
In the winter, I need to find the time and the cash to do this little lot.
Gauge faces
Carpets
Leather triming
Refurb window surrounds & door handles
Recover steering wheel
Refurb seats
Koni FSD & Eibachs

Oh, yeah - I was going to look into adjusting the throttle cable or replacing the WOT switch. Until I found a very small plastic "Dora la Exploradora" toy that somehow migrated its way up under the pedal.

Since I just bought the car, it's a pretty big list at this point. The wallet is going to stay light for the foreseeable future. I definitely gotta pace myself as I have neither the time nor the money to go as fast as I'd like.
Near term:
- Lloyds floor mats (done today)
- Oil/filter change
- Install DRL relay
Saving up for:
- Bilstein PSS10 suspension
- Anti-swaybars
- Wheels
- Tires
Unknown timeframe:
- Steadily address all fluids, valve adjust, spark plugs, and other misc mx items
- Passenger side rear rocker trim just ahead of shark fin sticks out (may just need a good kick back into place)
- Engine bay insulation sagging (rig up with a home made support bar/bracket)
- One cracked gauge; overall dirty and clear film sticker bubbling
- Tan center console, shifter, and p-brake refurbish
- Cruise control fix
- Freon re-charge
- Remove front boot carpet and dress up the boot
...and it goes on.....and on....

Dora actually got me out of a ticket (or at least a warning) last summer... was doing about 75 in a 70 on the freeway out in the boonies near Yakima WA and got pulled over. I was going camping with my daughter so I had 2 Dora pillows, a Dora blanket, and a stuffed Dora about 30" long in the back seat area. The state trooper walked up to the car and started snickering as soon as he saw that 5-year-old jackpot through the rear window. No ticket.
In my defense, my cruise control lever on the steering column is non-operational. I just haven't been motivated to spend the $$$ to replace that assembly. So I guess that's something else for this project thread.

I've got a few exterior / interior cosmetic changes to make in the next month or two:
- Re-build & fit BBS LM 2 piece split rims (custom spec and finish)
- Fit 993 door handles
- Porsche 996 hard back sports seats (re-dye to Linen and hard backs painted Guards Red)
- Adjust ride height on coilovers and have car fully set-up / geo'd

hi,
just finished:
thorough engine maintenance, strengthened engine carrier, upgraded front swy bar, front strut bar, cup bypass, decat, fvd chip, sports end muffler. 997 sports seats, carbon fibre interior, track mats and race pedal box and set.
things to do for this year:
treat bubbles in the windscreen seal, oil cooler fan switch, porsche classic head unit..and the HID lights from d-zug (finally arrived).and dud love a 3.8l conversion and a motec unit ( last 2 definitely don't fit in this years budget).
here in dubai, the weather gets nice between november and may, after May its not so forgiving 50celsius

It's been too long since I've paid some proper attention to detailing the car. Clay bar and a few fresh coats of Zymol are high on my list along with feeding the leather seats as they're not as soft as they used to be.

1) Replace convertible top ( someone tried ripping me off last month)
2) Replace speedo
3) Re balance rims and tires, bad steering shake at high speeds.
4) Replace after market stereo head unit with a newer one. With Ipod connects.
