Looks like you need to switch around the spark plug wire holders. Did you swap the lower valve covers with each other?

Me I'd be pretty thankful for people going through the length of photo-drawings to point out potential issues....

Constructive remarks are good if you can back them up but just drawing a couple of red lines and laying them over a photo taken with a wide angle lens won't make me loose any sleep

I thought the photos would help any one wanting to attempt some DIY that do not know their way around a air-cooled car

Good man! Remind me once more why you're not joining on the SPA trip?

EDIT: I've heard some people use the front callipers on the rear, some one will chime in with more knowledge... but I have my fronts coming off on Sunday, if that mod does indeed work and you'd like them? Although maybe that upsets the bias...
