yeah the motors are the same even compared to a 993. I got one from Weekend Rides for $30 swapped the ball joint connector from my old one and dremeled off the 993 arm that was on the "wrong" side. Porsche often repurposes parts (or used to anyway) this way.

All the servo mechs are basically the same, but the mounting brackets and arms differ. As far as I remember, the arms are fixed with a screw. I have always bought the correct part, and can't tell for sure if they are interchangeable.
