I have a mint 964 with 125k and a top end done.. i wouldnt advertise it with 700 miles on the clock. Price wise it prob is correct if u assume that what money u pour into a project you get out but when has that ever been the case. Bascically im cranky today and think the mileage field needs amending.
Yeah, I'd agree with that. I'd advertise the engine as 700 miles but not the car.
Price wise - it's definitely steep. But it's less than the work it would take on another so probably worth it for someone who's got the immediate cash and wants one that is 'worry' free.

A chap contacted me about a month ago about buying a 964 (C2 or C4 coupe), after having sold his 993. The demand for 964s is so strong over here at the moment that he's having a helluva job even getting to even see one! There was a midnight blue one in Kent that went very quick and he's just missed the one advertised by Rennlist member HAB5000. So if anyone has one for sale...let me know!

Is he not then interested in the Cobalt Blue one?

That one is way over priced IMHO. I think JZM have jumped on the 964 gravy train by pricing it that strong. It would also defeat the object of buying a 964 for less than he sold the 993 for.....he's not looking for a 'refreshed' car and was hoping to buy in the £16K or so category...a task that is looking to be really tough right now.

The owner of the car in question (a Rennlister natch) appears to have bought the car a few months ago and commissioned all this work on it, only to decide to sell.

A shame for him as I can't imagine it's to his advantage.

That'd be my old c4 coupe for sale at JZM. They bought it outright from me as I needed to free up capital for a personal business investment so I have no financial interest in the car anymore. I was quite surprised at the price they have it up for. Do I regret selling? Yes every day! I spent a lot on it and it was meant to be a keeper and never intended to be resold. Unfortunately I had to let it go.

Bummer.. I hope your new investment pays off for you and your in the seat of a Porsche real soon, so all the best

I think there's lot of people on this forum that have spent big £££ on there 964 and I for one would never get back what I have spent on mine but that's just the thing with old cars unless your lucky to find a never been used barn find!! But I'm just getting it the way I want it now so I'm happy with mine and that's what matters to me!!

So personally I would not buy it at that money as I like the upgrading/ restoring myself or trusted friends but for someone that wants a good to go 964 that's very nice 964 like this car I can understand it to!!

#001 is tucked away here in North Carolina. Boy is it a loud car. Haven't driven it, but have seen it a couple times.

Not a detailed drive description, but it's something...

Jzm have a nice looking 964 turbo on for pretty reasonable money (for them anyway)

The 2 964s that P Raby had for sale both have deposits down which tbh is not surprising as they were pretty well priced

Very nice Barty. Is that similar to the one you owned before? By the sounds of things, even more special. You'd best post some more pics up for us
