Default RPM Question

What mph are you running at 4k rpm's in 5th gear? Just curious because I am running just shy of 100mph at 4k rpm's and thought that was high. I have all records from new on the car so I do not believe the gears have been changed.

Thank you for your input.

That works out to 6520 at 163 mph. Sounds in line with published numbers.

hadn't paid that much attention to it but it's got to be around the century mark. Although a C4 is geared a bit different than a C2.

Do you have an owners manual? There is a graph in the back that shows the speed in each gear and the associated RPM.
