Default Ducktail owners please post pic and brand

Starting on the winter projects and I would like to know which ducktail is the best one for fit and finish. Please post pics and manufacturer.

I really like ducktails and would love to put one on my 964 also.

Not a 964 but still awesome!

Getty for reasonable price. Fit was decent but took a little work. I'll post a photo tomorrow. .

I've been toying around with the idea of getting a Getty ducktail and would love to hear more input on the quality of fittment. $649 for a carbon fiber decklid isn't bad at all.

Some photos. There are still some minor adjustments that need to be made but overall it's a pretty good fit . Getty.

Oh.. Daffy = Crazy black duck for those who wondered. Planning a sleeper car .

IMHO, but I don't think "old" parts looks right on a younger model/car. I've never understood the duck tail thing. Looks great on -72 but on a 964 or 997 it' s just strange.

None of these cars are mine, but I like the look.
Would love to have a carbon duck and be able to switch lids back and forth.

Some inspiration:

Oh wow where did you get the photo of the Red one? That's my good friend Haas' Fogle's car in his back yard. We ordered our two ducktails together from Getty.

It's a recent shot, but I can't remember if it was someone saying "hello" or if it was a car in the classifieds?

I remember the car because I really liked what he did with the interior (and the duck).

I like the Daffy tag idea!

PS: Just notice you guys also have a unique rear tow hook location. Very slick!

Looks like right after a PCA DE. I love the interior of his car. His car is the reason I bought a 964 to be honest. I'm likely going to do the same treatment with a Lucas half cage welded in back and a stripped out interior.. maybe.

Let us know when your back around H town again, your welcome to stop by our Wednesday garage night.
