At the minute I'm just changing the roof lining dash top and door card tops. As I'm on a tight schedule. But eventually the seats door cards centre console and carpets will be black or grey. Still not decided.
Don't want it stripped out though.

I think non stripped is best. I'm going for black carpet and centre console. Perhaps a leather cover for the dash if the dash doesn't clean up tomorrow morning, you going to the meet? I'm leaving at 10:00

Got my bits back from the acid dip

seeing as they are 20 years old they are pretty much mint, very pleased

just got to rinse them all down with degreaser and let them dry for a while before rubbing them down and getting them in primer

When you are trying to separate the transmission from the engine case, did you remove the clutch throwout arm and shaft? It won't separate until you do.

Have you looked at this place for dials? http://porschedials.com/

They will do a guage to whatever colour you want - Perhaps a nice grey red counter to match the exterior colour would look great against the rest of them?

Cheers for the link but the guy who did Fuch's blue dial is doing it for me. He actually sprays the dial and then stencils it as per factory spec. Reasonable price too

Took the rear swing arms off yesterday. Those bolts were solid, nearly all stripped though then I can get painting the underside

Yeah I used a massive breaker bar with a long piece of box section over it to make it even longer. Nut gun did the rest of the work
