Tom, while its in bits, get some new oil lines made up. Third party is miles cheaper than Porsche, perhaps Pirtek in Slough.

I got lucky, the dealer who sold me mine just spent £1k on mine replacing the lines to the cooler.

That's exactly where I'm going
Just replacing the filter to thermostat at the minute. The others are ok.
I'm not doing a full restoration but new fuel, brake and clutch lines are a must

Just thinking about bush's
what are people using and what do you recommend, theres obviously power flex but they are not always best.

I cant offer a comparison but finally managed to get a blast in the car today after getting my Geo done , I fitted powerflex front and back other than the real ARB where I fitted superpro because they were half the price of the powerflex, spec was Bilstein HD, Design TEK springs and powerflex and can only say the car is fantastic which was only ever going to be the outcome against what came off.

In regards the bush choice is either superpro, powerflex or Walrod my view was I couldn`t see how there could be much difference in real terms as they are all rigid plastic ? so it came down to availability and cost best prices I could find was here

http://www.powerflexonline.com/

and Gert at Carnewal does the walrod bushings

loving the enormous pile of parts in the pic above, that right there would give me untold sleepless nights! respect due.

not sure where the two doors leaning up against the wall came from though, you may struggle to fit them back on the 964
