Thanks geordie for coordinating this GB!

Welcome Mitch!

I'll ask Alex@Fabspeed to clarify this and also if it fits under the OEM carpet.

We have done a few of them here and they bolted up without any problems. I would be glad to do a nice discounted GB on them if anyone is interested.
thanks,

Hi Alex,

We have a number of interested parties.

For the sake of clarity can you confirm that :

1) The bar fits stock mountings, no drilling required
2) The bar fits under the OEM carpet

Also .... if we get 10 or more buyers, what price would you offer?

Best,

g -

Sorry about the derailment, for those of you interested, I did get a go ahead from Rennline on a group buy. 20% off (thats -$59). I'll start a new thread for those interested.

I spoke with Alex at FabSpeed this AM. He's aready to begin proceeding with this this GB if there's any interest for this 2 point brace. My understanding is that: Made in the US. Two nuts need to be removed from each side, then reused to install the brace. Please PM or email Alex to confirm suitability for your application and to get your order in. My order is pending till demand is known. If it's easier to call Alex, his number is 215 646 4945.

Henry - sorry about your thread getting hijacked!
Geordie - thanks for getting this started!

The remaining question still is if it fits under the carpet...I'd hate to sacrifice too much trunk space

If it is a near copy of the factory bar, it will fit under the carpet nicely. I have the factory bar in my car and the factory carpet goes over the bar without any issues. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the clarification. I'll be placing my order tomorrow.

Question for the experts: Will I need to get the alignment or corner balancing re-done as a result of removing the 2 nuts on each side to install this brace?

Not it you just take them off...put on the brace...and put them back on. There was a post about someone jacking up the car and folks were pretty against that as it was liable to throw things off.

I'd ignore me though...I'm not even an amature...
