If you *like* the black (and I think it could be made to be cool) you need to add a little more to tie it to the car better. Brake ducts, headlight trim, black Carrera decal, black sills, black bumpers.... photoshop for prototypes

Fantastic color choice. I hope you paint the hood though.

For a street car...I'd paint.
For a hill climbing car (which is so cool BTW)...I could go either way.

Actually I'd put a carbon duck on the back, leave both lids in carbon, apply the script and some "sponsor" logos and go racing!

All orange picture below (I like the modified front bumper):

I have not seen that bumper before. Is it custom?

Please paint the hood

I came home with my car yesterday. This is the first drive since September. It has been transformed !! The GT2 front uprights make all the difference, the car is less skitish, the engine revs like a motor bike, the Cup cams make big difference, the power just keeps coming. The clutch is horrible, its on or off with little in between, but when your moving its great, you can change gear with so little rev drop off.

The car has had all the sound proofing removed, it just has a thin felt covering, its a bit loud inside but I will get use to it.

Just a few jobs left, I want to sort out the wheels, I think I will go with Gloss black Cup 1's, with R888 tyres. I want a new steering wheel, I like OMP Corsica, have had one before they are nice to use.

I will enter the PCGB Speed Championship this year. I ended 2nd in class last year in the Midland Speed Championship, Porsche are fast but nothing can catch a 600 BHP 4x4 up a hill !!!

That came out nice!

The backseat treatment is great. Was that Appbiz carpeting?

you asked multiple times about the bonnet.
i think 98% said to paint the bonnet.
but are you going to leave it black so it looks dodgy?

The bonnet is a terrible fit, that is why I have left it unpainted. It is only there to save weight, I am hoping to get the weight down to under 1200kg. The best way to make a Porsche go fast is weight, my 2.7 Carrera was down to 1046kg it was a flyer.

I like the bonnet, why runs with the crowd!?

Need a carbon engine cover to compliment though!

Go with the hood for now, it's already there. The wheels will help. Change it later if you want. It's pretty easy to change.

I like it. It's your car. You doing a nice job and it's going your direction. That's actually very important. It's also important for the other posters to have their opinions manifest in their cars. Courage Man!
