I am looking for a replacement rear decklid emblem for my RS America, have tried the RS America site with no luck, any suggestions

I have the "America" part from my old RSA. No adhesive but you can get emblem adhesive at Autozone. PM me if interested. You can get the "RS" from the dealer or any other Porsche parts reseller.

I am still looking for a replacement rear deck lid emblem for my RS America. The resource that I was counting on through the RSA website appears to be not available. I know I can get the RS piece, so I am looking for the America part, have tried every resource I can think of.

Has anyone had any success getting someone to custom make an emblem that I might be able to use?

I tried for a long time but the guy in CA seems to be the only quality alternative.

Just an FYI - the 'RS' piece of an "RS America" is bigger/taller than the 'RS' piece of a "Carrera RS".

FYI I've been in touch with Keith V of rsamerica.net. He's in the middle of having some high quality reproductions fabricated, better than the cast ones previously offered. They should be available shortly if you want to hold off for a short while. You can get an "RS America" sticker for the interim from him.

A 3d-printing future might put such questions to rest.

Even w/ today's printers: a little suface bondo... some finish sanding... a little rattle can spray of appropriate matte...
I could envision some impressive hobbyist copies.

(Hell, start re-imagining your own tweaked 'Porsche-font' emblems -- say, "America+". Let the purists howl.)
