Vandit,

How did you find the quality of the FG piece? Can you tell the difference between it and the USDM piece in finish?

Looks great, I agree on a lot of the points in favor of the RS piece, but I think I'd need to see it first hand!

I can't speak to the Rennspd piece, but I bought mine from Getty and it is superb. Very thick and solid (no thin, flimsy construction), came in black gelcoat and only required minimal sanding prior to paint. I was impressed.

I agree and wish the secondary lights where 7/8 scale. They are just a tad too big, but not bad for 20 years later. I know people love clear corner lights but to my eye they make the lights look even bigger, especially on a dark colored car.

Let me take that back, I'm drooling...
Awesome post - what's REALLY funny is that's the VERY car that helped craft some of my opinions of these mods, especially the front ducts. That Maritime RS used to live in Salem, OR and I know the prior owner, so I was able to literally look at that car and my car side-by-side and note the difference in the visual cues - man, I loved that car!

the very one - shame he sold it on before I had my car sorted out, would have been a cool photo-op, especially with the Maritime 964 Speedster that lives here in the NW now!

I already have a genuine RS centre section on my car but I have recently been in contact with Cult Werk for the front splitter group buy. They also do a nice RS centre section and in plastic rather than glass fibre. If the quality of their splitter is anything to go by I am sure these would look great.

Does anyone want me to contact them about a group buy?

Judging from the pics on the cult-werk site, that looks like a really nice piece.

One thing to remember is that the USDM cars don't have the threaded tow hook hole in the same spot as the non-USDM cars.

GazC2: That looks great. Very OEM. Even has the correct recess and cut outs for the number plate lights.

Shall I start another group buy thread? I don't have shares in Cult Werk by the way and I already have the RS bumper!
