Default german engineering

take a look at this

The language is not a problem. Click on the shovel below. Note without a seat belt !

I`d be wondering if the blokes who put the tower together knew what they were doing .

Apart from implicit faith in the hydraulics, what about faith in the welds????

" MEN WHO DO NOT GROW UP
CREATE THEIR TOYS "

This is the most amazing feat I have ever seen.. This is a MUST SEE..
For those who can't speak German, just watch in awe..

AWESOME! This is for all the guys!

In the first place, leave it to men to do something this crazy.
Second, I can't believe they let them set this up in front of a cathedral !
And third, I can't believe the announcer was standing directly beneath the whole mess.
Geez, what insanity, but a great promotion for the hydraulics on this piece of equipment and the operator.

Leave it to German engineering...

Wow Ray, amazing.

No Helmet or full harness, the guy must have been confident in his ability and the equipment, or just nuts.

just the thing to pass on a cold Sunday afternoon when I can't be bothered to go in the garage.

The announcer looks like Charlie Sheen...

I love the one German word I picked out at the end.. I am guessing they spell it Kompetenze....

Probably just nuts (crazy) and *****. If anything would have gone wrong, no amount of safety equipment would be able to save him.

They actually did say that

Personally I don't think it is that crazy. I'm sure they wouldn't try something too risky on live TV with a crowd around.

Then again: didn't the germans build sportscars with engines in the back that were notoriously difficult to drive yet didn't want to give it up even though it was crazy :P
