KW V3 here. Love them and this was after installing what I understood to be a firm set-up with Eibachs and Boges the weekend before I finally pulled the trigger on the KW set-up. You can not go wrong with KW's and I would argue that when it comes time to sell, the car will be worth more than a car with Reds and HD's. You might as well treat yourself to something that will please you whenever you are behind the wheel. It took 1.5 years to convince myself it was the right thing to do. The first moment I sat in the car, I realized it was absolutely the right call. Good luck with your decision installing them yourself will save you approx $1,250 in labor.

Default been there done that

Unless you are going to track the car frequently, I wouldn't go for coil overs. I have Reds & HR HD on my RSA. The drop put me real near Euro RS ridehight. The reds would be great on a C4 with more weight up front, but the (proportionately higher) front spring rates didn't help with understeer on the track, and they are good on smooth pavements but too much for me on normal crappy road. I think for street, that I would just go with greens and HDs.

I picked up a high milage 92 C4 recently, with stock springs and new Bilstiens and I like it. I have been driving dual purpose track/street cars so long, I forgot how nice stock was. I would definately spend the money getting seat time on a track to see what a stock / nearly stock 911 can do.

I must be getting old!

Have you done any auto crosses or DE events with the new set up? How would you describe your set up when driving fast through curves and under hard braking?

I am definitely leaning in this direction. I don't think I will do the work myself though.

Hi Alan,

How do you like the RS ride height for daily driving?
