Thanks Mitch

Just fancy a change in finish, but dont want to ruin the car. Once its re-finished it would be too costly to change back, but it could just take the car to the next level...

Thinking outside the box there bud!

But I think gold only works on flat sided spokes, not softer lines.

Im just being picky now

Google 'Boxster concept'. I always thought the polished rim with a sort of dark bronze centre looks really good (and quite unusual, I don't think I've seen it on any 964s). Would suit a guards red car IMO.

The Concept certainly is a good looking car

The wheels on my RX7 (Blitz Techno Speed Z1's) were bronze centres with polished lips. Im just not sure the colour would work on my Turo P's?

Like the lads said keep it silver and polish the lips for easy maintain, otherwise polish lips and have gloss black centers.

Wouldn't advise you to go all polished;-)

I had mine done with Mike.

Ta for the pic Norm I here Mike the Polisher is good.

Just as a heads-up tho, The bright finish I showed on Page 1 isn't full polish, it's a powder coat to the centres then polished rim

Are they polished aluminum or chrome plated? They look to be chromed which looks terrible, in my opinion.

Wheel lips in all pics are hand polished alu and wheel centres are all painted finishes. I have to draw the line at chrome plating

I wonder what polished rims, silver centres and polished bolts would look like?

Spot on I would have thought.

Yours don't look bad at all IIRC.

Hope you and Vicky are keeping well.

I kind of wonder how the wheel finish used on the fuchs/singer Porsches would look on red.

Doing good thanks Thomas Hope you and the family are too?

Edging towards silver centre and polished lips as they are now, but just "fresher". The paint I applied a couple of years ago has started to dull and im sure a pro could do a better job at polishing those lips
