Default Has anyone ever...

....fitted a LHD drivers door to the passenger side of their RHD 964 (or vice versa) so that the mirrors can be installed symmetrically? It's the one thing I don't like about the 964's looks, which has become more obvious now that I've installed aero mirrors.

And btw, I appreciate the reason for the standard design, but was just wondering if anyone had made it work

it's not a good idea. they are positioned that way in order to see as much as possible. the angle will be wrong if you mount it as on the other side.

I suppose you could sit in your passenger seat and see if you can adjust the driver's mirror to see out of it?

Thats actually what prompted the question, granted vision isnt as good but I thought the reduction minor enough to justify the mod.

What I really need to do is sit in the passenger seat while some else drives...
