WTB: Blaupunkt Symphony RDS Owner Manual
Does anyone have an original Owner's Manual for this model?
(I think they were OE for the UK and Australian markets)
I'd be happy to pay a good price for one...

Thanks Babalouie! Just whenever you get a chance, no rush.
Should I PM you my email or postal address?
For anyone with a spare copy, I'd still like to get my hands on an original manual, just to fulfil my Obsessive Compulsive Disorder

Wow, fantastic, much appreciated! Now at least I can tune in to the local radio stations.
Considering that I'm going to try to keep the stock unit in, I might even dig around in the garage for some cassettes - INXS? AC/DC? Yikes!

Well...I never read the manual until last night when I scanned them, and so I didn't realise that it had a jack for a CD changer at the back.
I found an old thread which suggested that a standard 13pin round connector into 3.5mm headphone jack would be sufficient for you to plug your iPod into the CD changer port of the Symphony RDS...if that's all it takes, that would be pretty cool
I'll try to hit a stereo shop this week and pick up a cable, see for myself

And if you look behind the stereo, you'll see a wire with a 13 pin plug hanging out, looking like it might be for a CD changer...
The wire from eBay (which is actually advertised for Kenwood, but the plug looks the same) goes straight into that Blaupunkt plug...
...but it doesn't work at all. You can have music playing on your iPhone but pressing the source ("SRC") button does nothing. Maybe this trick does work on Japanese head units, but not the Symphony RDS. Oh well, it was worth a try
