Yeah, the ring taxi was involved and people were taken to hospital.

Wow... 2 M3s, a Corvette and a 964. Hopefully no one badly hurt.
Is it a real RSR or a replica?

Aw man. I'm guessing that car is totalled? Would cost a lot to fix it, especially the rear suspension

I was thinking somewhat the opposite conclusion.
Bashing doesn't appear to have gone tub-deep. Except, that rear suspension arm attach point. THAT could be more expensive than the rest.
But I wouldn't go as far as a parting-out, totalled.
With these internet-never-die pics, the future resale value just took a hit, however.

Of course, that's just my Monday morning water cooler speculation.

From the finer detail I'd say it was a replica.

I'm glad to hear that nobody was seriously hurt but it is another reminder that on the ring you have to be aware of everybody around you. Even the driver of the ring taxi got caught this time. Everybody take care out there.

Been on the ring once with the Carrera 3. Not trying that again with anything but a rental.

The ring is, for most foreign (other EU countries), classified as a toll road. How it works in practice remains to be seen.

I hope the injured driver recovers well and quickly. This will surely start the debate about keeping the ring open to pulic once more.

Should ensure it's not a total loss then, which i'd guess it may well have been were it a replica

Shame, its a beautiful car

From the video taken a few minutes prior there is almost no warning of the roadworks approach, though it appears that the ring taxi arrived and took 2 further cars out once the initial accident was over

Yikes, just back! My avatar is from last weekend..

Looks like the forum pundits are right - not enough investment in the north loop, and all that hyperexpensive and underused rollercoaster and boulevard nonsense at the grand prix circuit.

I mean WTF was the roadworks doing on a busy touristfharten day on probably the most infamous corner. Why arent there more marshalls and signing? Sheesh.

RSR is a Cup conversion. It still worth fixing as Cups are close to 100000Euro
