Default goin' green!

so i reinstalled the catalytic converter for emissions inspection after driving w/out it for the past year. big difference, the car accelerates as if i'm hauling a couple of bags of sand! it was also funny to hear the DME try and figure out what happened. as i normally run the car w/ the cat bypass with no o2 sensor and cup pipe.. good fun.

Your car is 20 years old. Register it as historic and never do emissions again.

I got lucky. Here in Maryland it's 20 years. Nice to not have to worry about swapping it out.

15 years old in Pennsylvania for 'Classic' (no emissions, nor annual registration renewals)
25 for 'Antique' (no emissions/safety inspection nor annual registration)
However it's at the title level, so appears to be another owner on CarFax when you make the switch, unless you do it when you first buy it.

Indiana has no inspection at all hence the reason the LeMons car is still legal.
