For those of you that chose to ditch your airbag wheel, just curious to know what made you do so. I'm seeing quite a few 964s with non airbag wheels. Maybe I'm just out of touch! LOL

^^ I like it - clean without being too modern ... but proto still classiest in my (current) opinion...

fitting this soon (alcantara redone)

Well, it looks better, dash is more visible, and of course, weight savings.

The Prototipo is beautiful and I totally get why people fit them in their 964's but my car doesn't have a very retro feel to it for me and I didn't think it would suit, so I went for the 'Tuner' (think it used to be called Corse) for the reasons you said, not too modern, but still clean and simple. I would love to lose the Momo badge and get a little Porsche script though! Maybe I'll handpaint it out black...

My Momo Competition....dumped off the Cup wheel for my old favourite. Way nicer feel.

All about performance! I find the smaller dish easier to manipulate. The deeper offset brings the steering wheel closer, allowing for a better driving position. The rim thickness sits in my palms better. All in all makes for a good driver's mod.
