Default Hard Back Seats

So I have a pair of hard back sport seats that I am getting redone. My car is Grand Prix White on Classic Gray interior. The seats are going to be Classic Gray, but not sure what colour to paint the seat backs. I am thinking of having the pockets removed and the holes filled. I will have kids in the in the back kicking at the seat backs from time to time so not sure if white is the best move. Thinking either Dark Gun Metal Gray or Flat Matte Black. Any other suggestions.

I suggest a gray that closely matches the color of the seat fabric.

I would explore having the back color match the car's.

From what I have seen, I like the look of the contrasting colours.

Car is white and don't want to end up with scuff marks from the kids shoes etc.

Any other suggestions, how do you think flat matte black would look?

Matte paint will definitely show more scuffs than white, and what's worse than that is that, unlike gloss white, you really can't buff out a matte finish.

I vote you paint the backs white, you teach the kid he shouldn't be kicking the back of the seat (or damaging anything else on the car, this is a best practice for raising a future gearhead anyway), and in the event that a scuff/mark does occur, buff it out w/ some Meguiar's ScratchX or other light compound. No big deal.

White and be careful. And post pictures, I have classic grey as well.

BTW, what's going on in your back seat that is creating a lot of scuff marks?

I have a little girl (15months) and I'm afraid when she is in the back, she will kick the seats. She will not be in it a lot, so might be worth the risk.
