Default seems like another missing something

working on my car again and noticed what really looks like a missing something on the left side near the spare tire....you know that empty space that seems like something belongs there...theres 3 studs there that were used at one point (paint on the studs scuffed and missing)...that means it had to have some sort of cover..anyone please chime in and inform me...I have this need for perfection and its driving me nuts

the picture

the 3 threaded studs are circled in yellow.....also what mounts to the piece circled in grey?

any help at all would be HUGE at this point...I really appreciate any help in advance of course....

I think the bracket on the left is for the intensive headlight washer fluid reservoir (option)

No....it's higher up on that side, my C2 has it.

My car also has nothing on the bracket in question. I believe it's used for the "dual differential lock solenoid valve" on a C4.

Can't help you though Smokey... driving the beater these days. And good I did since the parkinglot barrier decided to assault my car and dent the roof and some pillars.

I was quite relaxed... not even blinking just smiling and thinking: ahhhh... at least I'm not in the 964
Security thought something was wrong with me big time.

C4 add ons.

Not sure what it all does, but fingers crossed it keeps doing it anyway ...

Ah, C4 Dual Solenoid Block. Earlydays nailed it, and the studs are for fittings that hold the brake lines.

cool thanks so much everyone...you figure Porsche would have come up with a plastic cover for the C2 then....if only to stop people from going "now what the %*&% is missing there?"
