I got more than a minute, I really appreciate it man. I'm telling you I don't know how I always manage to mess something up on even the easiest task.

OK, unfortunately no pic available. Camera batteries conveniently dead. I do however have the wire colors/locations for you (this is for my '92 C2, hopefully yours is the same...)

So, hold the switch with the top up...looking at the back side, the pins should be similar to this arrangement (I've numbered them 1-5 for ease of explanation):

(1)--(2)
-----(3)
(4)
-----(5)

Driver's side passenger window switch:

Pin 1 - red/blue stripe (short)
Pin 2 - brown
Pin 3 - red/white stripe
Pin 4 - red/black stripe
Pin 5 - red/blue stripe (long)

Driver's window switch:

1 - red/blue short
2 - brown
3 - blue
4 - blue/black
5 - red/blue long

Hope that helps...

Looking at mine from the bottom side not the side with the cover on it goes:
(4)---(5)
(1)---
---(2)
(3)---

I tried using the color combo you gave me but the wires didn't want to go in that way. Thanks anyway for taking the time bud. I'm going to try to find the color combo through google-fu.

The way I did the little drawing, was looking at it from the back (i.e. the side of the connector that the plastic cover snaps over). I made the numbers up just to correlate positions to wire colors on the list...no relationship to numbers that may or may not be present on the connector itself.

Looking at the side without the cover.

Good news everyone, now the driver side window won't move.

Did you make that picture?

Using your pic & numbers, mine would be wired as such:

1 - red/white
2 - red/black
3 - red/blue (long)
4 - brown
5 - red/blue (short)

Looking at your picture, the wires come into the plastic connector from the top, hence the "long" red/blue wire would be going to a connector somewhere down near the bottom.

What happened to the driver's side now? Take a break, clear your head, and get back to it. Be methodical & patient. You may have blown the fuse that powers the windows when all the pins came out of their plastic plug (likely they may have shorted). Check that first before you give up hope.

Yes I just made that picture, that is how the numbers on mine are arranged and I used your color coding system. I'll check the fuse tomorrow.
Edit: Oh wait a minute I just realized you numbered it by the pin not the actual numbers that are listed on the back or am I wrong?

Damn all that for nothing. I'll retry it again tomorrow. As for checking the fuse Ill take care of that now. I know that the fuse is blown it will have a gap in the element but how should I remove it without further damaging it.

Edit: Just checked it, it was blown.
