Fabspeed 200 cell cat - how hot is it
Hey Guys,
I am thinking of picking one up but am a little concerned about loosing the heat shield. I know heat is not a big deal for the EuroPipe but what about the 200cell CatPipe. Does it run cooler than the stock cat?
If I was not worried about fuel smell I would just get the EuroPipe.
Thanks for any input.

I was unaware that anyone had a 200 cell cat for the 964. SCART stopped making theirs a little while ago. Although I see reference to a 200 cell on the Fabspeed site, I don't see it offered separately. And I don't see one from Automotion. I'm pretty sure Dansk doesn't offer one now. More details, anyone?

I always love that Fabspeed video where the lady is trying to slow down the 964 out for a photo op ride.

I put in the Fabspeed sport cat recently and all seems fine. I would think it would be cooler than the stock cat because it flows better. I'll try to remember to do a hand check after a spirited run and see if it's hot enough to affect the tire and report back.
All indications are that it's a 200 cell cat...paid $565 for it!
Oh, and the sound (with secondary bypass) is awesome...above 5000rpm it sounds like the voice of God.

Daryl,
FYI - Maxspeed do a 100 cell sport cat for $450. No affiliation & no experience of it.

I did find out from Fabspeed that their canister is made by HJS.
Unfortunately it looks like the PPI on my car did not look at the AC and it is not blowing cold. So I am going to have to take the money for the cat mod and put toward sorting out a bad AC
