Default RL member in discomfort - just a note

A well know RL member, advisor and all around good guy is going through a bit of hell at the moment. Although most of us, Steve included, can count our blessings, I thought a public shout out would perhaps up the karma healing quotient.

I think it would be wise not to PM or email him - he remains busy and can't see a damn thing anyway...

Steve Weiner of Rennsport Systems has undergone surgery for corneal issues in the past few weeks, and will need to go again this week for a "re-do". Evidently this all hurts like crazy and leaves the patient without vision during the healing process.

The poor guy has done his best to help me (and probably many others here) during this ordeal, as Claudia is at the shop accepting her many molestations with more grace than I.

Anyway, I will do my best to leave him in peace - as I'm sure all here will also -
but hope that a bit of RL cheer can shake out the dust, cheer him up and promote eine gute besserung...

Kai

I haven't dealt with Steve but I have noticed that he's very helpful on this board. I respect his advice and contributions.

I wish him a speedy, uneventful recovery. Sending good thoughts to him and his family.

Thanks for the heads up Kai,

I always look forward to reading Steve's posts, and REALLY appreciate that he takes the time to answer our random questions. I've never met or personally talked with Steve, but the wonderful thing about forums like this one is that you end up feeling like one big family. Wishing him the best!

I have to agree that, though I don't know him personally, Steve appears to be a real asset and all around good guy.

Thoughts and well wishes his way . . .

Steve is an all around great guy - he has helped me countless times. I'm glad you let me know about this as I will hold off calling for a status on an order - it isn't critical and I know he'll come through as always.

Best wishes Steve and good luck with the healing.

Like a few others I do not know him directly but I can grasp the situation of eye problems my father has dealt with alot of issues and surgery with his eyes and II could imagine the pain and discomfort associated with it, hope everything is speedy for your recovery, get well soon.
