All in all a smooth pickup. Congrats!

I did a similar trip back in 05 when flew from Philadelphia to Cincinnati and back home in 1 day, it was long trip but very fun.

Great post and absolutely entertaining.

I have done that same ride several times, El Paso to Corpus Christi, 14 hour drive in one day,.... wish I had the 964 at that time..

Congratulation,.. nice car.

Congrats!

Nice pics and a great looking 964. First order of business...a little straightening of the 'smile'.

Congratulation with the new car, great pictures and intro. I do not want to be negative, but in one of the pictures showing you and the instruments you are at 3000rpm and the oil level gauge is pecked at full, in my mind that is a sign of an "oil over fill".

Thanks for all the kind words, all. The car has been great in my first few days of ownership. I'm making a nice list of things I'd like to address, but it's all in the details. The car is solid and feels great.

I think you're looking at the oil pressure gauge. The oil level was in the red the whole time when driving and comes up to about the middle when parked/idling. I ran that by a couple people and they said it was normal.

You are right, my mistake, haven't driven my car since November last year, seems I have forgotten which gauge is what.

Enjoy bro!
