A photo journal of my trip into ownership. *very picture heavy*
I hope you guys enjoy the pics. It's a day I will never forget.
Waking up early, FUUUUUU!!!
I hate the people who decided to make SH121 through Grapevine a 2-lane highway.
DFW Connector construction mess.
More mess.
Gotta pay the troll toll!
Terminal Dee!
Priority Access check-in, why of course!
Chillin' at the gate after the TSA scanners.
"Yes I have status, please upgrade me."
"Done"
WINNING!
Chillin' on the plane.
Alittle metroplex from the sky action.
Pickens Plan in full effect all over the place.
Some nice topography.
More topography.
Touchdown.
What's going on here?
Making friends w/ a drug dog while I wait for my ride.
Got my ride from the airport. 750i FTW, the car is just ridiculously nice.
Then we are introduced for the first time!

Seeing it in person exceeded all my expectations! I was blown away!
Topped her off w/ 91. I guess they don't get 93 in west Texas.
Bought some road snacks just in case, setup my GPS, get situated.
I hit the road and 630 miles to go.
At least they've got 80mph speed limits. I wish it was the autobahn instead.
Lots of desert.
Not much going on.
"US Citizen!"
We're crossing time zones now! I guess that's progress.
Stopped at Mcdonalds in Van Horn for less than 15 mins. 2 cheeseburgers down and i'm out.
Snapped a couple pics.
Mostly trucks on the road.
Cheech and Chong status?
Approx 209 miles later, i'm at half a tank, so I stop to top it off,
Ahh yes, Odessa. Friday Night Lights and what not.
Wind farms going crazy.
Big hardhat is big.
Almost 250 miles later, i'm in Abilene, back around half a tank, so I top her off again.
Killin' it w/ the bugs.
Sun setting fast behind me.
It's nighttime and i'm still on the road.
Some roadside drama as I start making my way through the metroplex.
Finally, 15hrs after I woke up, and after 9.5hrs of driving, we're both home. I clean off all the bug guts before I put her away.
I look forward to countless years of ownership and participation in this community. Thank you for looking!

I just celebrated my 4 year anniversary yesterday, so I've been down memory lane thinking about my first drive home. Your pictures are great!
How many times have you gone out to the garage just to look at her?
