H&R+Bilsteins= lots of neg front camber?
For some reason this didn't sink in when I had the car aligned after mounting up the H&R+Bil parts a few years ago. The shop couldn't get anything more positive than -1.6* for the front wheels due to the lowered stance and change in geometry.
I'm only curious if anyone else has had this problem? I see that the stock spec is 0* +- 10' for the front, which is quite different than -1.6*. I'm not sure what the ride height is set to, but it's plenty street-able: higher than RS, probably 1" or so lower than stock.
The car drives fine, doesn't seem to dart on the highway, still has some understeer at cornering limits. I only noticed that the front tires have a little more inside wear.
Is anyone managing to get factory alignment specs with a lowered car?

Oops, newbie mistake, should have searched -

I suppose -1.6 is within street acceptable values and more front camber can only help a C4...

If you're a spirited driver when cornering, the camber should help even out wear across the front tire and increase front grip. All good things. As long as your toe is in check, your wear should be just fine.
