Default Another motor mount thread

I'm pretty sure I know what the answer will be but thought I'd ask for a second/third opinion.

Judging by my search and other pictures I've seen mine are shot.

These are mine.

RH side

LH side - looks very odd - no?

What does the RL collective think?
Thanks

I've seen way worse. If/when you decide to change them, go with the Wevo mounts. Do a search. Lot's of info. One of the best mods I did

This is how they will look if you put new, standard mounts on:

If I were to do it again I'd consider Wevo or 993 mounts. The 964 mounts are too spendy for me

Avoid the Ebay mounts from Deutsch Parts, they are crap. That is what I have now and not only are they built like doodoo, they create a vibration in the cabin when I'm idling that makes me feel like I'm in a Camaro

+1

Even though they claimed to be OEM.

I've got the 993 mounts in mine, work great with the longer stud to lower the engine a bit more when needed.

Now for the shopping bit

Funny how the 964 is the only car that I actually enjoy throwing money at.

**sorry to hijack this thread for just a minute**

3blackbirds,
As the weather gets nicer, please post some pics of your car...I'm sure many of us would love to see more pics of your 964 with the ducktail spoiler...not to mention the Ruf wheels!

I installed Wevo blue pillow mounts in my 964 last year. Love them. Only PITA was getting the drivers-side threads to budge. After that, pretty easy.

well, i bought the 993 ones as they were the most economical and they worked like a charm. Also installed two new ignition distributors and my car has its pep back again Shifting also seems much better, most noticiebly second gear.
