Hi,
Like title says, does 993 headers fit to the 964 without any modification?
I have thinking to buy these headers and use custom made muffler.

Thank you.

The exhaust manifold / heat exchangers from a 993 do not directly fit a 964. The flanges are oriented 180 degrees differently on one side. If you had 993 cylinder heads, or 9M heads that have all 4 corners drilled for exhaust studs, then they would bolt straight on. You can have a company cut the flanges off and rotate them 180 degrees, but it requires a jig to ensure they are welded properly.

here' is a set of 993 headers which have had the right(left in pic) side flanges flipped 90* to fit 911 or 964 head bolts

here's a set of stock ones ,again the right(right in pic too) side flanges are 90* off from previous

993 heads are set up for either orientation
993 head

964 and older heads are only set up for a single stud pattern

the exception is 964 RS3.8 which used 993 type headers and head exhaust stud pattern
964RS 3.8 type head

I have a 964 with an aftermarket exhaust that sounds great.
I just bought a 993 that has motorsport option but does not make enough noise.
From what I gather, the studs have to be offset 90 degrees when trying to apply a 993 exhaust to a 964. But going from a 964 to a 993 ought to be a direct fit. Right?
