Default Euro 964 RS parked next to U.S. C2 - definition of "stance"

Wow. I was in the presence of greatness.

I drove to our local C&C hoping I'd see the car, but given the cars the owner has in his collection, I wasn't sure I'd ever see it...

So I roll up to C&C and see a very nice line up of Porsches...wait, I see ONE open spot...OH ****, there's an open spot next to the RS! How perfect two 964's next to each other...this is going to be cool. I back-in VERY slowly, checking 5 times to make sure I don't dent a $20,000 fender.

Ok, ok, I've mentioned it many times before, don't comment on my 4X4 ride height (I'm working on it!)...but I'm really asking for trouble parking my car next to the "king" and it's perfect stance....enjoy the pictures... (re-posted images - the photos were buried on page 3 of another thread)

I was another fun outing with my Porsche friends!

Is the owner of this 964 RS in the US temporarily; asking due to the European plates.

I have mine at the Euro RS alignment and ride height spec. It is great for the track. Not so much for the US city streets. You will get the 964 smile the first driveway you go up.

That last shot is (as I used to say in my kidhood): tough.

(Jetta, even your boy is grayed out!)

That's a truly lovely car, and yes, 964's look so much tougher when they sit at the 'correct' height. ie. lowered but not totally slammed. I think 964's also need good track and decent rubber to fill the guards and 17 or 18" rims. Camber looks tough as well....
And the colour is probably my favourite 964 colour, although I am quite partial to my horizon blue.
