Smile 964 RS SEARCH

I AM NOT SURE IF THIS MESSAGE IS ALLOWED HERE, IF NOT I APOLOGISE AND ASK THE ADMINISTRATOR TO DELETE IT.

Hi to all:

After 1 year of very happy ownership of a 964 Carrera 2 and having upgraded it a little bit as well as enjoyed a few track days with it, I have decided that I want to move to a 964 RS, main reason is that I want to continue buring money into the beast and I feel like it will be more correct to do that on the RS rather than a carrera 2.

I am currently trying to sell the C2, and there are already a couple of very interested people so it looks like before christma's I will start seriously looking and visiting vehicles around Europe to find the right machine...

My budget are 65.000 € maximum., if any of you know of the right car please let me know.

I enclose some photos of my current car...

Do you want a garage queen or a car to drive with?

If you want to have a car which you want to track I know a silver original RS, equipped with a 3.8 Liter engine approx. 15.000 km old (producing healthy 305 PS and > 360 Nm of torque), big brakes, a very quick car.
But it has been used on the track and therefore shows some stonechips etc. It is also not accident free but properly repaired and technically in a good condition.

The price region is around 50.000 EUR. Location: Germany

I know the car and the owner - for me it is a attractive price/value region and if I didn´t have already my RS I would seriously consider to buy the car.

If you have interest - PM

Good luck with your search anyway, you did the right decision to go for an RS.

That 91 Cup car looks like it's been lightly modified.

you can consider japanese market.....
-cars are virtually all low mileage, rust free, & almost always fully documented
-because of the gov't enforced inspection system (shak-ken) all mechanical issues are corrected.

container shipping from japan to vanc less than $3000 so assume to euroland about same

this 1 has 40,000km & is priced at JPY6.6million (say US$70,000)...click on any thumbnail for enlargement

http://www.carsensor.net/usedcar/det...ml?TRCD=200002

this 1, has 56,000km have to call for price.....

http://www.carsensor.net/usedcar/det...ml?TRCD=200002

& here with 21,000 km is listed at jpy 10million (USD 110,000 before negotiations)

Great idea. Funny to see the additional of a horn sticker on the steering wheel of the last one...wonder what other little surprises you'd find. Seem like really great prices - perhaps a group buy to Vancouver??

First car has previous accident damage.

Second car, I contacted the dealer earlier in the year, looks like a nice car. Price was Y8.5M.

This one has been on sale for a while

http://pistonheads.co.uk/sales/2257611.htm

I am sure this is the same car that was for sale back in early 2009 for £45k (my brother was looking at buying it then).

I know the car (what are the chances?) - seen it at the track several times. It is no garage queen but a very well maintained and set-up car, especially for track events. If you look at some of my older posts, I might have a video or some pics that feature the car. Good luck!
