Terrible angle on it, but the vent is the silver deal surrounded by the red box. I too was trying quite hard to figure out what it was. Not until I dropped the engine to do a reseal did I figure it out by pulling the vents off, and they just happened to make that noise

Mine only make that clang when it's cold out.

We "solved" this problem with the help of an earlier Rennlist search as well -- we think the only reason it happens when it's cold out is it directly relates to the position of your heat control slides and cabin pressure.
